This week we focused on Data visualisation. This part of the course got me very confused. It means data we can see right? Still a little bit confused on what Data Visualisation is I did a bit of research. So data visualisation is pretty self explanirtory. It’s Data represented visually. Kind of like when your were in year 3 and you had to draw a pie chart about how many kids in your class had red hair and how many kids had brown hair. That’s a very simple take on data visualisation.
Data visualisation is used for so many things these days and there are so many different ways in which it can be represented. http://labs.digg.com/stack/ This is a cool example of data visualisation.

Data Visualisation is just another thing that the web has adapted to engage viewers. It can be used for all kinds of things such as how many people drive cars to how many people get lung cancer because of smoking.
